Shop Carpenter
Shop carpenters will build prefabricated wall panels for buildings. This position must be able to operate a nail gun, effectively use a tape measure, manipulate large pieces of wood, and operate various saws. The shop carpenter job exists to cut and lay out plates for the wall panels, cut and lay sheathing, cut wood for the next person in the assembly, and assemble wall panels with efficiency, safety, quality, and good pace.
Field Carpenter
Field carpenters complete the cutting, shaping, and installation of wall panels and other building materials during the construction of our buildings. Installation is done efficiently and safely as possible, meeting all the requirements of the prints. This position reports to the crew foreman.
Crew Foreman
The crew foreman is a field carpenter who is in charge of a carpenter crew. The crew foreman will complete specific tasks efficiently in order to complete a larger project and works directly with the site foreman to progress the job forward and alleviate responsibilities of the site foreman. This role is generally assumed by a senior worker.
Lead Foreman
The lead foreman will ensure the crew is completing a project with quality, safety, and on schedule. The lead foreman’s responsibilities include supervising the crew(s), planning pertaining to the project, and being the contact between workers and supervisors.
