44 REVI Flats

The 44 REVI Flats project transformed the former F. W. Woolworth Building in downtown York, PA—vacant for 30 years—into a mixed-use residential and retail development. 'REVI' references revitalization and the broader Market Street redevelopment effort. Quality Buildings was the framing contractor adding two stories above the existing Market Street portion and three stories above a newly constructed parking garage in the rear of the building. The project required each floor truss to be individually measured due to the existing footprint not being precisely square—a common challenge in historic renovation work. A single point of access for material handling required careful delivery coordination. The building was constructed in two phases: the front two-story addition above the existing structure first, followed by the three-story addition above the parking garage. Quality Buildings' scope included all rough carpentry under CSI code 6000, including frame outs, interior apartment walls, and blocking.
