JMB Gardens is a 51,000-square-foot affordable housing development in Harrisburg’s Uptown neighborhood, transforming previously vacant and blighted properties into a community-focused residential destination. Founded by Harrisburg native and former NFL running back LeSean McCoy, the project consists of four residential buildings with 41 one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes, along with a community service facility and centrally located pocket park. The development emphasizes accessible, energy-efficient housing and was designed to achieve Zero Energy Ready Home and LEED Silver certifications. Quality Buildings provided the full Turnkey Prefabricated Framing Package, bringing prefabrication and field installation together to support an efficient and coordinated construction process. Through QB’s turnkey approach, JMB Gardens demonstrates how prefabricated framing can contribute to projects that combine construction efficiency with lasting investment in housing and neighborhood revitalization.
